From CountryWeekly.com:

Country Weekly has joined forces with GAC to help you pick country's greatest of all time - once and for all!

In the Feb. 13 issue of Country Weekly, we gave readers a first-round ballot with up to 25 choices in each of five categories (and space for write-ins) from which to choose their all-time country greats. And did they ever! Over 25,000 of you voted online or in the mail. And now Great American Country (GAC) has signed on to help you give the final word!

Below you will find your choices, the five top vote-getters in each category. GAC will announce four of the winners April 21 during a special episode of GAC Nights hosted by Suzanne Alexander. The fifth winner - country's greatest song of all time - will be announced in the May 8 issue of Country Weekly, on sale April 24.

GAC will also devote five GAC Nights segments (weekdays, 8 p.m. ET) to help you make the tough choices - picking a winner in each category: March 17, Greatest Songs; March 20, Greatest Duos & Groups; March 21, Greatest Female Artists; March 22, Greatest Male Artists; March 24, Greatest Albums. Visit gactv.com for additional airtimes.

Remember: voting ends 12 a.m. ET March 25!

December 18, 2005:

Where do I begin?

Throughout "The Cline Chronicle," you will find references to an organization called Celebrating Patsy Cline, Inc. For the past few years, I have actively supported and promoted this group because I believe in the purpose for which it was formed - the establishment of a Museum showcasing the life and legacy of Patsy Cline. However, recent actions by certain board members of the organization have troubled me so deeply that I can no longer endorse them or encourge visitors to this website to offer their support.

The outcry of Patsifans from around the globe in response to this, and subsequent actions by CPC, has been both astonishing and gratifying. Numerous postings on The Patsy Cline Forum, Internet discussion groups and other websites, along with private e-mails, show the extreme displeasure the fans have for this act of "suicide" (as one fan put it). Rest assured, Patsifans will not go gentle into that good night.

On December 16, the webmasters received this special banner created by Patsifan Jared Vaughn from South Carolina:

Jared has created several other graphics which can be found on various websites.

As we move forward into a new year and the post-CPC era, we look ahead toward brighter days with new, exciting ways to strengthen and honor the legacy of Patsy Cline.
